About Me
Hi, I'm Sakshi Sharma, a network & cloud security engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience securing enterprise and hybrid-cloud environments — and now a builder of cybersecurity products. I specialize in designing, securing, and troubleshooting on-prem and cloud networks, with a strong foundation in IP networking, routing, firewalls, and automation.
Currently, I'm a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at Authenticone, where I design and build cybersecurity products end-to-end — including developing and extending an endpoint detection & response (EDR) tool, from threat model to shipped feature. Previously, on the Mercedes-Benz (Daimler AG) account at Infosys, I delivered end-to-end security solutions including firewall architecture design, deployment, and L2/L3 support for multi-vendor firewalls. My expertise spans Palo Alto NGFW, FortiGate, Check Point, and Cisco Firepower, plus cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
I'm passionate about taking ownership of complex security challenges end-to-end, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting large-scale, SLA-driven production infrastructures. The operator years are my unfair advantage: I know what security teams actually need, because I used to be one of them. My approach combines deep technical knowledge with practical problem-solving to build secure, resilient systems that enable business growth.
As a Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) and recipient of multiple excellence awards, I'm committed to staying at the forefront of network security, cloud, and security-product engineering — while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the security community.
